DermoVox Disclaimer, Cancellation & Refund Policy
 

DermoVox provides non-emergency virtual and in-person healthcare services, including medical weight management, metabolic and hormonal health services, virtual sick visits, physical examinations, occupational health services, laboratory review, medication management, and preventive wellness care.

Payments

Payment is due when booking unless otherwise stated. Payment reserves the appointment time but does not guarantee a prescription, treatment, medical clearance, certification, form completion, or specific health outcome.
 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, late arrivals that prevent completion of the service, and missed appointments may result in the loss of part or all of the payment.
 

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable after services have been rendered or clinical work has begun. This includes consultations, examinations, medical-record or laboratory review, treatment planning, form preparation, prescription processing, and clinical follow-up.

No refund will be issued solely because:

• A prescription or requested treatment is not clinically appropriate.

• A patient does not qualify for medical, employment, school, sports, DOT, or occupational clearance.

• Additional testing, records, or specialist evaluation is required.

• The patient is dissatisfied with an appropriate clinical decision.
   

For appointments canceled at least 24 hours in advance, DermoVox may provide rescheduling, a partial refund, or a full refund depending on whether administrative or professional work has already been completed.
 

Memberships and Medications

Membership cancellations apply to future billing periods. Current-period charges are non-refundable once clinical services have been provided, a prescription has been transmitted, or medication fulfillment has begun.

Medication, pharmacy, laboratory, and shipping charges are generally non-refundable once processed. Third-party charges are also subject to the pharmacy’s, laboratory’s, or vendor’s policies.
 

Practice Cancellations

When DermoVox cancels an appointment before services are provided, the patient may reschedule or receive a refund of the amount paid directly to DermoVox for the unrendered service.

Applicable Law

This policy applies except where federal or state law provides a cancellation or refund right that cannot be waived. DermoVox will honor all legally required consumer protections.
